Lauren Woosley, MA, LPC, LLC
I live in Castle Rock with my husband, our two daughters, and our two rescued dogs. My family is one of the most grounding and meaningful parts of my life, and it continually deepens my understanding of the complexity, beauty, and vulnerability that come with being human.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy cooking, hiking, running, traveling, and spending time in nature. I value time with my family, whether that’s walking our dogs, cheering at my daughter’s soccer games, or watching my other daughter ride horses at Gymkhana and drill team events. I also prioritize caring for my own well-being by exercising at a gym and attending yoga classes. Staying active and connected to the outdoors helps me remain balanced and present, both personally and professionally.
Send Me A Message
I have worked as a psychotherapist in private practice since 2013. Over the years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals during some of their most painful, transformative, and courageous seasons of life. Prior to entering private practice, I gained extensive experience in acute behavioral health settings, including working in a county Acute Treatment Unit and Crisis Stabilization Unit. There, I supported individuals experiencing mental health crises and acute psychiatric needs. I also worked with the Colorado Crisis Line and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, providing immediate emotional support and resources to people in moments of profound distress. These experiences shaped my ability to remain steady, compassionate, and grounded in the face of intense emotional pain.
For nearly two years, I facilitated a weekly support group for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse through the Wings Foundation. That work strengthened my commitment to trauma-informed care and my belief that healing is possible—even after deep and longstanding wounds.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the Natural Foods and Supplement industry, which cultivated my appreciation for holistic wellness. I am deeply passionate about the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I believe that the challenges we face in life affect not only our thoughts and emotions, but also our physical health and overall sense of vitality. My approach to therapy reflects this integrative perspective.
